the contaminated water is not a risk. people who are afraid of it do not understand the concept of dilution, nor how much water is involved.

The spent fuel will be responsibly removed but it will take decades. They hope to be done in 30 years.

The dilution cop-out excuse is hard to buy.

In reality, the water damages the local area, contaminates the local area for centuries to come, and spreads far and wide to slightly contaminate continents away for centuries to come. This isn't just watering down some Big Mac sauce that we are talking about.

"People don't understand how many rolling hill of interstate there is, making me chucking my fast food trash out the window not a big deal!"
