Regardless of your opinion of these drag shows, the fact that they are controversial should be apparent to all. Is it not a massive oversight to send children to a controversial event without informing the parents? Is that not the whole point of the permission slip in the first place? Either it's due to gross incompetence or deliberate oversight, in either case it's clear whomever is in charge is unfit for the position regardless of intent.

The intent of any event that involves public schools should be academic enrichment on some level, imo. What academic enrichment does a drag show have? None. The only thing it does try to normalize LGBTQ communities. Idgaf who you're sleeping with or how you're doing (barring the obvious; consent), but this isn't about that. This is about politics and forcing something beyond individual freedom and preference on children without the consent of their parents.
