I don't care for Alec Baldwin, but really? YTF was there even live ammo at the set? That's not his fault.

Even with completely fake guns on set you aren't allowed to point them at people. He pointed that gun at 2 people and pulled the trigger. This wasn't the first accident on set, he knew it wasn't safe. But he was pissed and has anger issues.

Yes, as part of a choreographed stunt only.
Gun training specifically says you are not to wave the gun around or point it at people on set.
He would have done this training multiple times. He was not shooting during a scene, he specifically aimed at the crew.
