The TX legislature only sits for five months every other year, so January is their first regular legislative session since 2021. COVID, constitutional carry, Roe v Wade, and the border crisis were bigger TX priorities then. We will see what happens in the coming months.

Hopefully the legislature will pass a bill banning sex changes on minors this year. But I am not holding my breath.
