Don't get me wrong, she should never of had the treatment she got but seems USA got ripped...

I feel the same. Her case was used and punishment made harsher by Russia for political reasons, but she knowingly brought cannabis into a country where it is illegal. With this deal, the Biden administration is saying that Brittney Griner is more deserving than Paul Whelan.

So, Russia gets back someone important enough to them that they've been trying really, really hard to get him out of American prison for many years now, to Putin's great advantage, while the US gets back a basketballer too dumb to know not to transport cannabis oil to a country where it is illegal, weeks after the elections when it might actually have done Biden and the Democrats some good.

Yet again Putin outsmarts Biden.
