Limited hangout and fake whistleblower who ensure he released the information so carefully that absolutely not one thing was done about what he exposed at little bit of, while hiding the rest.

What information do you think he had that he withheld, and how should he have gone about releasing it differently?

I think he purposely slow-rolled the release of the information that he did release in a piecemeal fashion. While doing this is a text-book limited hangout technique to prevent reaction to the purposefully leaked information, he overtly stated he was releasing the info slowly to have greater impact. As we can see in retrospect, it instead had zero impact, and what he described only was increased and made into a service for hire.

There is just so much he didn't mention, but would have known plainly, which would have had much more public reaction. He didn't mention how "anonymized" meta-data collection is just full data collection that is per-optimized for search and storage. He didn't mention any private corporate partnerships to collect data with big name tech companies, Websites, manufacturers, and cloud services, not data-trunk spying. He didn't warn of the dangers that analyzing this much data creates to the public.

He basically tossed a softball...
