He's super-divisive, arrogant to a fault, continues to claim credit for the clot-shots, surrounded himself with vipers and failed to do much of anything to really change things. He just pissed a lot of people off.

Desantis has a genuine chance of bringing people together, presenting a level-headed alternative, and has already proved himself during covid, being willing to change his mind and protect freedom, bucking the trend etc. I'm not American but he'd get my vote.

Trump is just a fucking clown at this point; for sure he can make me laugh, he's "you're fake news" stuff was awesome and the world needed that, but he needs to step aside for those with a real chance. His ego won't let him though, which is a big weakness and easy to expoit.

Actually, DeSantis is much more aggressive than Trump but his style is much more subtle. DeSantis isnt much of a barker but he has a nasty bite, and they all know it by now.

That's exactly what's needed, as Trump is great at the barking and the sound-bites but creates his own resistance. I'd love for us to look back at the important role he played, where he stepped up when we needed a Trump - but if he derails the next election he'll go down in history as that clown everyone hated, who gave the Dems the excuse to X, Y and Z.
