They usually keep the public away from stories that might lead to human compassion, because compassion slows down the war machine. It is hard for us to hate other people when we realize we are all in this together. When a hurricane causes damage and loss of life, the whole community is affected. All races, and the rich and poor alike, lose their homes, suffer injury and loss, and even die. We could all work together to solve problems, but the evil side would rather steal, kill, and destroy.
