Blacks and immigrants both tend to live in impoverished areas. Immigrants make easier targets for crime because they are immigrants and don't know better or know how to work the system or the cops. And general crime rates have been going up.

The problem exists but the motivations are not racial. Black thugs in the city will attack whomever is handy to rob. Whites, other blacks, Asians. Doesn't matter. White thugs will do the same shit. Asian thugs will do the same shit.

We can point to good reasons why Asians tend to be more successful than other immigrants, strong family ties being the major factor, strong values towards education being another, that lead to the discrepancies that we see. You want to end the crime you've got to also instill those values on the youth in the hood and get grassroots cultural change to take hold. But that's hard to do cause any decent black folk are gonna leave the hood at their earliest convenience and frankly I can't blame them because I'd do the same.

I think a big issue that most Americans don't talk about is the class based stratification on where people live. Rich people in America might as well be living in a different country than the poor. They don't go to the same places shop at the same places or live in the same areas. Some of this is natural in societies and it's not entirely a bad thing but generally speaking once it reaches a certain point it leads to a lot of problems and a real break down in senses of community and a strong us vs them mindset.

They don't. They attack people based on proximity and perceived risk vs reward. That's why elderly people get attacked because they can't fight back. Our society is just so obsessed with racial differences that when we see an attack we assume that race is the underlying cause. This ignores that most violence in our country is between people of the same "race".

Look at the case linked in this topic. What evidence do you have that it was racially motivated?

The reporting on these cases is racially motivated. You'll rarely see articles like, black man attacked by black man, despite that being an extremely common occurrence. The Asians are certainly taking notice of the races of those that attack them, but the attackers are simple thugs that don't care about anything. Black white asian whatever if they can rob you they will. Thugs don't give a fuck. They have no honor. No code of ethics.

He looks drunk, he's by himself on the train at 3 am. If I'm a thief, I'm attacking the guy that seems the least likely to fight back. It's retarded to assume they attacked him because he's asian. It's actually racist to assume that. You're assuming race is more important than any of the other factors. By definition a racist outlook on the world.

Immigrants make easier targets for crime for any number of reasons but mostly because of lack of familiarity with the area, meaning less of a chance of backlash on the thief. This is in no way a racial phenomenon and is true everywhere in the world. If you go to another country you are at higher risk of being a victim of a crime for no other reason besides being an immigrant and not being familiar with the surroundings to the same degree as a local. Same reason why country bumpkins with no street smarts get pickpocketed easier. You see the American flag T-shirt and camera ate obvious signs but beyond that, gait, how they hold their cigarette, all of that tells loads of where someone is from. Elementary my dear Watson. Immigrants are also scared of police due to language barriers and are less likely to report shit to cops.

None of this has anything to do with race in the US since skin color is a fucking stupid way to judge people. Is the Asian guy a 1st gen immigrant or a 4th gen descendant of an immigrant and utterly white in all aspects save appearance and dietary preference. Do better mate.
