I move to disbar the State Bar of Texas.

This guy was one of the lucky ones. Many had their careers and livelihoods destroyed by partisan retributions like this. He only escaped the coordinated attack through the technicality of also holding a political position.

I'd go farther. I think the very idea of a bar association deciding who can practice law, and who can't is specifically designed for punishing people for political beliefs, and should be abolished wholesale in every state.
