Classic NIMBY, I don't know why anyone was expecting a different response. There was a YT video I saw of some people in San Francisco being interviewed. The subject? Their complaints about the homeless encampments springing up in the alleys next to their 6- and 7-figure apartment buildings, and how the police aren't doing enough, and doing it quickly enough, to suit them. These are the same sorts of people who loudly cheer sanctuary cities for illegals, defunding the police for community counselors, and so on. Until they have to suffer the consequences of all that, and then the mask comes off and you see them for the self-absorbed trash that they really are.
