Someone should ask WOTC why they put out a corporate statement saying they agree with people who think black people look like monkeys.

It’s not a good sign when a game, that specializes in different animal races, makes a monkey race, and everyone assumes it’s you.

Behave like animals, get treated like animals. People always have a choice on how they present themselves to the watching world.

But you can train monkeys.

Reminds me of "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" by Avenue Q. I can't imagine the new cast running that show it nearly as amusing, and I don't want to look in to it.

Yea I'm racist, but when I see a monkey, thinking of black people is something I never think of. When I see a black person, I think of the monkey, but not vice versa.

    What about the white monkeys?

That reminds me of the heavily censored-on-reddit face-palm of outrage at a school assignment having an image of Obama being used to depict... all of humanity...while showing the different types of primates (monkeys, lemurs, gorillas, orangutans, homo sapiens).

    The actual (laughably) offending assignment:

The first publication used a deceptively framed image, which cut off the questions. All the headlines read like this and were full of outrage:

School assignment shows Obama next to primates

The school board, after excessive outrage and pressure, shamefully caved and disrupted all of the education process for the mass of idiots, instead of taking the opportunity to educate the public:

“On behalf of Roeper School’s leadership, we want to acknowledge the disturbing racial offense contained in an assignment with an upper school class last week. The choice to use this piece of curriculum was completely inconsistent with our School’s philosophy and mission and we sincerely apologize for its use and the harm it has caused. While the teacher has taken responsibility and admits the mistake of not properly vetting the resource, we know that is not enough and she has been placed on administrative leave until further notice,”

Just a few of the many carbon-copied NBC affiliate originating articles about it:

Only the PETA president had the balls to remind people that Obama is a primate, but by then it was too late for the outrage circle-jerk.
