Do they know that some people will read this sign as, "Boycott Starbucks"?

They have to realize this, right?

Perhaps they do not care, as long as they work together with the other corporations around the world to bring in the beast system. Amazon and other online companies also helped motivate the human race to abandon cash and get a number... credit card number, debit card number, cryptocurrency wallet ID number, IP address number, phone number....

That passage seems to be referring to 'his' with 'he' being the devil, not the person trying to buy or sell (i.e. the mark is one of two things - the name or number correlating to 'the beast'). Presumably they are referring to a number like 666 or something like gematria, not a number correlating to the identity of some person. I don't see any support in the wording for it to be interpreted that way.

Then 'his' mark is the Visa/Mastercard/AmEx/Discover logo. You can't shop online without it.
