"Card and Contactless Payments" aren't really a mark on the back of your hand or your forehead though are they?

They're more sort of a card carried in your wallet or phone carried in your pocket.

And also note that this mark needs to be made by a beast that comes up out of the earth, that has two horns like a lamb (which I guess means very small ones), and speaks as a dragon (I've got no idea what a dragon speaks like, but I guess we're making an allusion to Satan, so probably a dragon is a great orator and very charismatic - the lamb horns is just weird though).

I see you trying to interpret the scriptures. The human language is too poor to describe the spiritual realm, but the more you seek, the more you will learn. I also have much to learn.

The mark will be in the right hand or forehead. That is a specific prophecy. Going cashless is another step toward fulfilling that prophecy.

Here are hints of what it could be...

Would the world consider an alien to be a human or something else? And if it is not human, what kind of creature would it be?

If mankind would allow themselves to receive injections that changed their DNA, then they would no longer be fully human any more. What would they be? And let's say the first injections were actually ruining the DNA of all the people in the world, but some aliens (fallen angels) came to their rescue with advanced DNA modifications. And what if everyone in the world were required to take this DNA fix in order to do business in the world?

The mark of the beast will be the "cure" to the kill shot.

Do not allow the adversary to deceive you. It is a trap for man's soul. God, our real Creator and Father, will save all that call on the true Savior: Jesus Christ.

We're not very likely to have an extraterrestrial show up and take over the banking system. But certainly a being from another planet would not be human. Even my cat isn't human, and he's much more closely related to a human that something from another planet would be.

Probably a small enough demographic that the safety of their staff has a higher economic impact on their business.

Diseases, notably CoVID spread by contact. (And droplets in the air). So non contact payments (and masks) are safer for your cash-handling staff.

Perhaps they do not care, as long as they work together with the other corporations around the world to bring in the beast system. Amazon and other online companies also helped motivate the human race to abandon cash and get a number... credit card number, debit card number, cryptocurrency wallet ID number, IP address number, phone number....

That passage seems to be referring to 'his' with 'he' being the devil, not the person trying to buy or sell (i.e. the mark is one of two things - the name or number correlating to 'the beast'). Presumably they are referring to a number like 666 or something like gematria, not a number correlating to the identity of some person. I don't see any support in the wording for it to be interpreted that way.

We need to lay off the constantly crying doomsday. The sign says cash will be rejected in favor of credit or gift cards, as many stores have done already, not the mark of the beast.
