Dog licks owner's arm, then licks own butt. Dogs do this all the time.

It's fucked up that the couple's non-monogamy is hurting their dog, but no need to imagine any more degeneracy than there already exists in this story.

I don't know about kids tho. That is probably very sus.

Yes, I'm seeing people post this article in several places. It suggests that the large majority of transmissions are sexual. But it still not necessarily 100% (remember that closely related smallpox can be transmitted via bedding). Even if transmissions are 99% MSM sex (and I think that's probably close to the truth), the rare canine case could easily be due to the 1% non-sexual transmission. I think bedding is a more likely vector in this case.

Again, promiscuous sex puts yourself and others (including canine friends) at risk and thus should be militantly discouraged. These guys are still degenerates. But I don't think there is any need to assume that they are fucking their dog.
