I don't get it personally. They make absurb amounts of tax on fuel in the uk, so where they going to get that money from if we all cycle lmao.

UK already doesn't have electricity to go around. The net zero plan there is especially egregious!

Yeh if France wanted to hardcore bend us over they could just severe the electrical grid to the uk.

In addition, it's going to take trillions of dollars to upgrade electrical infrastructure to accommodate them. California was already begging people to not charge their cars at like 5% electrics in the state. If it's 95%, where is the electricity going to come from? Solar and wind cannot bridge that gap, plus transmission lines will need to be multiplied manifold.
