One theory I read was that Elon never intended to buy Twitter, he just wanted an excuse to sell $8 billion Tesla stock without tanking the share price.

Although if that were true, I would expect him to have language in his initial contract that would make it easier for him to walk away from the deal.

It will be interesting to see if Musk bails on the platform and goes to Gab or Truth social. I would love to see Twitter fail completely.

They will absolutely not sue. They are the ones who refused to turn over bot data. The last thing they want is to be subject to discovery.

What is sad is that most leftists are too dumb to understand this and in thier eyes this threat of legal action proves that Elon did something wrong and vindicates Twitter.

If I was about to drop that much cash on a purchase (of anything) & they wouldn't cough up all the relative info prior to purchase, I'd 86 that mess of a 'deal', too!
