Funny how everyone's an armchair expert on Uvalde yet no one knew at the time how many shooters there were, how many kids were still alive in that classroom, whether it was a hostage situation or not or if there were explosive devices involved like at Columbine so the sheer ignorance of people who think storming that classroom would have solved everything when the shooter(s) could have been laying there with a human shield of kids in front of them with weapons trained on the door just waiting for the cops to try and enter. For all anyone knew they could have had pipe bombs rigged to explode if the door opened. Those guys who responded are just cops. They are not superhuman but they have to face being judged by a nation of complete fucking morons. I can't recall anything like this current level of idiocy. Its like the entire population lost about a third of their intelligence last year.

And who is the expert we should be listening to? The police who ran in to get thier own kids out then tackled parents outside who wanted to do the same? The administrators who immediately began lying about the doors being locked to cover thier asses? The FBI who likely allowed this to happen because they use school shooting as ammo in thier war on guns?

no one knew at the time how many shooters there were,

Bullshit. Absolute bullshit. There was no confusion about the situation. You are pulling crazy hypotheticals out of your ass to justify thier cowardice. They chased him in there. They knew exactly what was going on and the longer they waited to go in the more time they gave him to prepare, to murder children, and to barricade himself. The response should have been immediate.
