This is the way until batteries get better or they start installing wireless charging under the highways.

Switching to lithium batteries means a dependence on China for energy. I feel like I see a microcosm in my vape batteries. They only take so many charges, their performance constantly decreases, they take forever to charge. And with China still locked down, getting them at all seems iffy.

I feel like maybe we need to look closer at who wanted this energy policy and who received money from China. McCarthy style.

The US Army is developing or has developed a large solid state battery.

If they had the infrastructure this wouldn't be a problem.

That's just one of the problems. What are they gonna do when the battery doesn't charge anymore and Shanghai is closed?

I can't even get vape batteries and fools wanna run their cars on this shitty china tech.

That would be like having a regular car with a gas station that takes 8hrs to fill the tank lol. They will have to force up the price of gas to where no one can afford it before people will consider battery powered cars. The trouble with that is, all the working class people will be ths first to be unable to afford gas and the last to be able to afford battery powered cars.

If your driving radius on a single charge is just over 300 miles, perhaps attempting to go 500 miles per day isn't the best course of action with a charging infrastructure in its infancy.
