/u/ShalomEveryone posted a subjective analysis and generated a good discussion in response. /u/AmericanMuskrat linked to factual information and got less engagement. If people were logical then this should not happen. However people are not logical. If you look at the facts, this shooter was a violent leftist. In his manifesto linked above he specifically identifies himself as a leftist. He explains further that he started out as a communist and then became a nazi, both of which are violent leftist ideologies. We've recently had trouble at Saidit with a similar violent leftist /u/socks who espoused violent leftist ideology reminiscent of Hannibal Lecter. Thankfully they were permanently banned.
