      /u/ShalomEveryone posted a subjective analysis and generated a good discussion in response. /u/AmericanMuskrat linked to factual information and got less engagement. If people were logical then this should not happen. However people are not logical. If you look at the facts, this shooter was a violent leftist. In his manifesto linked above he specifically identifies himself as a leftist. He explains further that he started out as a communist and then became a nazi, both of which are violent leftist ideologies. We've recently had trouble at Saidit with a similar violent leftist /u/socks who espoused violent leftist ideology reminiscent of Hannibal Lecter. Thankfully they were permanently banned.

        Who he is is a leftist like /u/socks that espouses sadistic violence. They will burn in hell unless they repent before God. In light of these events I hope the M7 has reported /u/socks to the FBI so that they can stop him before he follows through on his violent fantasies. Far left violent extremism is the greatest threat to peace in America.

          Why do Nazi leftists lie so blatantly when confronted by the consequences of their violent extremist ideology. Wasn't Hitler murdering six million Jews enough to show how evil leftism is? Here is a direct quote from the shooter's manifesto:
