I think that's the point. Carlson has mainstream appeal and platforms people that disenchanted leftists/democrats listen to, like Dore and Gabbard. People like socks probably don't hate Carlson as much for his politics as they do for the threat he poses to the establishment narrative and/or Democratic party solidarity.

        Socks went around spreading similar misinformation. I caught her claiming Brian Sicknick was stabbed with a flagpole. I asked her for a source on that and she produced nothing.

        She also claimed Sicknick was tortured by Trump rioters and died of injuries, but an autopsy found no evidence Sicknick had an allergic reaction to chemicals or any internal or external injuries, according to the medical examiner.

        Socks created the same problems by spreading fake news and half truths from business insider on saidit. She also insulted people when called out on her bullshit, dragging down the pyramid of debate. I also speculate she was a misandrist.

            Yup, I just banned it, 3JOH22A was definitely a socks alt account. Saying the exact same phrases and words, coming out of the woodwork after months of inactivity, throwing threats my way and harassing users...

            Hilariously I even checked the user admin notes, and six MONTHS ago, soundsituation marked the account as "probably a socks alt".

                      I think socks should be allowed back on saidit. I think a temporary ban along with an agreement to follow the rules in the future would have been more appropriate, but I'm not an admin.
