What a dumb click bait title. No mention of the bird flu they had. They were dead already, they just put them out of their misery. As far as firing people, no chickens, no work. They will start again and in 6 months to a year hire the same amount of people back. Welcome to agriculture.

The article said only 1 hen was detected to have bird flu.

1 out of 5,300,000 birds. They used that as an excuse to kill all of them and fire their workers.

We saw how easily people were deceived with COVID, and the same people could be deceived by bird flu.

Nah, bird flu is the real deal for these birds. I've seen it first hand. If one has it the rest will follow. I've seen a crow population of 1000 + disappear in about 2 weeks. Only the corpses remained and a couple dozen birds. And that was wild birds. The chickens are in close contact we each other.they are boned.
