Keeping the same measurement of inflation as has been used since 1980, we get something like 17%.

But the expansion of the money supply was 40% in the USA over the last 12 months, which leads to the conclusion that there is at least another 40% dilution of purchasing power of the currency to be experienced over the next 12 months.
