What's the point?

Hollywood spends more on propaganda.

People spend more on video games and lottery tickets and men in costumes chasing balls.

Are you saying the wall is more important than food?

Are you saying the people on food stamps are less worthy?

Are you saying the systems aren't completely rigged against the poor?

Which poor are worse: those on food stamps or the "illegal aliens"?

Which poor are more of a "threat" to your American lifestyle?

Seriously, what's the point?

Show me an article about how billionaires force their employees to get (government subsidies via) food stamps because they won't pay them a living wage. Start with Amazon, Walmart, and McDonalds...

The point is selective outrage.

You know what kills more people than terrorists? Hamburgers. Cigarettes. Cars. Police officers. But, our spending doesn't represent the level of threat associated with anything because the news paints it one way to serve their masters.

EXACTLY !

You're more likely to be killed by slipping in your own bathtub or struck by lightning than killed by terrorists.

You're more likely to be killed by your own police than terrorists. Yet "they" demand your taxes to fund their wars.

You're more like to be killed by alcohol than lions and tigers and bears and sharks combined, oh my.

more like to be killed by alcohol

You can be a person that does not even drink, and still get killed by alcohol.
