Most middle class Chinese mothers import their formula because they don't trust the local stuff not to be full of poison or filler, such is quality control.

That's why baby formula is one of the most shoplifted things in the West. It's not being used by poor mothers over here but being sold by gangs for big money to China.

When I was a kid I was told to eat my vegetables because there were starving children in China. So 60 years later and nothing has changed.
