Either corruption or incompetence. It would take an engineer one day to check whether all feeds are still running and put it on some kind of dashboard. Integrating it such that the subway doesn't even run without a camera feed running would take perhaps a month.

Perhaps someone hacked the cameras, but that would require support from a state-actor. Did anyone important die too?

How about "the footage is horrifying and damning, and we don't want anyone seeing a black man shooting people, especially since he was under FBI supervision"? That sounds far more likely than "oops the cameras broke...nothing to see here!" Just like when Jeffrey Epstein was epsteined.

Who is this "we" here?

The people in power? Duh?

Let's do more uniting among ourselves and less defending those who are already well-defended and don't need any help, especially from non-compensated internet commenters.

That's rather vague. Are we talking about the IT-guy that manages the cameras? That guy arguably has the most power in organisations these days. Are we talking about the IT-guy managing the storage systems? Or the "manager" of the platform? The mayor?

Really, it doesn't mean much.

IT-systems can be setup such that data can't be deleted. Since they aren't doing that, they have something to hide and they should all get fired.

In the case of Epstein it seems clear that the prison system isn't designed to protect enemies of people with power, so they just need to design new types of holding facilities for such special prisoners. It's super simple. They could just house such prisoners in Norway with 500 cameras pointed at them from 50 different vendors and data streams managed by 10 different, independent ISPs and 30 different data storage vendors. I just don't think people will "suicide" themselves then... So, have such special facilities already been funded? No? Why not? Is it perhaps because the US likes being corrupt?

Ranked 27/180 on the transparency.org index. 136/180 for Russia in comparison. Norway is ranked 4th. I think all companies without a 100 out of 100 score show what a fucking failure humanity is.

Are we talking about the IT-guy that manages the cameras?

Obviously not and you know it. We're talking about the real people with real power, who absolutely can order footage destroyed if the truth is harmful to their group.

On one side, there are the people with no money and no power (us) and those who are wealthy and have the ability to control our lives. You're on the wrong side. The only question here is if money has changed hands.

That would only be possible if their top dog is an IT-professional, because otherwise he/she would never be able to hide that. If I were running the US government none of these shenanigans would be possible. I think for the most part it's just people that don't care and not that they are plain evil.

Nobody has the ability to control my life except for outright killing me and since you are posting a lot of content, that can't be a hobby anymore. All you are trying to do is poison weak people's minds. There is no way that you are poor. Also, if you can afford an Internet connection you are already not poor, because you can buy a pack of rice a day for the cost of that.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on the internet is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I wish you all the best in your ongoing battle with reality.

Yours respectfully, a logical person.

Do you remember Neo's awakening? You are similar to Neo prior to that point, but unlike him in that instead of pursuing truth you are content to shrink away from it so you can enjoy your safe "reality".

I am not content, but I am tired.

I understand. It is a scary, hard thing to go through- having one's world-view shattered. 911 was the catalyst which sent me on a quest to understand what is really going on. I am so much freer know that I know about the hidden layers of human power most are blissfully ignorant of. However, what makes me content, despite the wicked machinations and schemes of evil men; is my relationship with Jesus. You know the saying (from the Bible): you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free."? Well, Jesus said of Himself that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life - the only way to God the Father. This Jesus has everything under control. He gives me His peace. May I encourage you to meet and encounter Him by reading the book of John?

Just like the CIA, where evil shits are mostly at the top right?

Except in John Kiriakou's testimony of the CIA's use of torture (which he got imprisoned for and his testimony ended up being TRUE), 14 out of 15 low end CIA officers agreed to join the torture program. The only one who refused was Kiriakou.

If it's a government agency or employee position that constantly deals with corruption, they'll tend to hire workers who already have dirt on them or are already compromised. Easier to control.

Any proof of that or are you a 12 year old typing in your basement?

Also, no need to convince me that humans are evil.

rankings by brainwashed sheep aren't really factual rankings. Did transparency.org take into account the child rape pandemic? I don't think so.

Why don't you ask them?
