The Russian military also said earlier that it had pinpointed the location from which the missile had allegedly been launched.

Riiight. Says the side that said they wouldn't attack Ukraine and that their military buildup on the border was just an exercise, and then proceeded to massacre civilians.

If the Ukraine tries to invade Russia that will be hilarious on all sides.

This phony, fake war is an insult to any thinking person. I don't understand why they are doing it this way, but it strikes me as just a series of psyops. But why? Is Putin waiting for China to join the conflict? If China and India join Russia—and it's a possibility—that would be a large chunk of the world population. They could borrow an idea Japan had before and during WWII, and call it the East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. Our news media doesn't report on it much but China, Russia, and to some extent Israel are moving forward with the Bridge and Road Project . I think Bridge and Road sounds a lot better than Road and Bridge but it is a real thing and it will link a lot of countries together with the US outside the loop. (Which way would Canada jump?) So there is all that to consider.
