Drugs are not the problem. Parents who don't spend time with thier kids is the problem.

The kids never learn how to fend off boredom with intelligent pursuits so they turn to drugs. If it's not weed it is going to be alcohol. I think the latter is worse.

Regarding of the health implications, marijuana should have never been banned.. More problems are caused by alcohol than weed.

There was a theory this would be done as a last ditch effort by Dems to stop the mid-term losses for a while now. Wasn't surprised. I'm all for it, thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill marijuana is already essentially legal as legal and illegal versions are not easily distinguished from each other. You can get high on perfectly legal Delta 8. Everything is fine even though people can now freely buy weed. Just created a billion dollar market and took the untaxed monies that were essentially being stolen from the US by criminals.

Too little too late. The red wave is unstoppable at this point. The GOP will take back the house, the senate, and the white house with or without legalized weed. The need for any other parties is over. We need one-party rule and that country has to be the GOP or this country will not survive another generation.

The bill is a fake, per usual tactic. It is stuffed with crazy nonsense ensuring it will never pass. Then they can say, "we tried but our opponents blocked it." ....same trick different day. That dirty trick was even shamefully used with Covid relief bills, causing an unneeded week delay the first time, and months long blocking of relief the second time. That put them in a funky position after trying to use that to buy votes from the public, then getting stuck following through with an extra relief bill, after their opponents already gave one. Democrats need to get some new tricks or more of the public is going to catch on.
