This is an important detail to keep in mind - sexuality doesn't singularly define every LGB person. Many have the same mundane concerns as anyone else and simply want to get on with their lives, as long as they can do it with a partner they love and no difference in fundamental rights. Unfortunately, the flaming screeching type is frequently shoved front and center by a hijacked, overly politicized movement twisted by corporate interests.

As for BLM, it's funny to me how blatant they are in their hateful biting of the liberal hand that feeds them, which is ashamedly only beginning to retract now.

Another important detail is that for many gay men love or a partner is of no interest either. They just want the plain old dirty sex. We shouldn't have to talk in euphemisms to describe what rights people want, that always backfires. It's backfiring right now with trans people demanding gay people have relationships with them because "hearts not parts" should be most important.

You can broaden the desire for plain old dirty sex to the entire population, though I agree that sleeping around is normalized among gay and lesbian communities, which some lament and would like to see changed. The trans entitlement is another matter, and it's stupid for the simple reason that attraction isn't freely malleable. Get in line for that relationship behind the fat asses and quadriplegics, they'll be waiting forever.
