They also nabbed the BTK serial killer after collecting a vaginal swab that his daughter had taken during a routine exam, shit that was like 20 years ago.

I always heard he left metadata on a floppy disk.

That led police to his name, but it wasn't enough evidence to arrest him until they got DNA.

Also results can be fudged, as with fingerprint identification.

It was just a routine gynecological exam I think, they swab you to make sure you don't have cancer. You have to get them for any form of birth control or if you have any problem in that area.
