I wish the story looked into the source of funding that ICU Eyewear had for these mountains of face shields and PPE. Did they really over assume demand that much? Or did the government issue POs for them?

Because here's where lots of the N95s and Rapid Tests which are now being overproduced (way too late) are probably going to end up once this Omicron variant is over along with the flu season.
