They were forced to because the UK arrested several individuals linked to this guy. They arrested them on charges that were terrorism related.

The FBI largely had no choice.

Specious nonsense. Hostage taker said nothing about Jews. Could've as easily been staged at a post office. Wouldn't have made it an anti-mail terror attack.

I can't read the guy's mind. We can only know his actions. He had a stated agenda. It just had nothing specifically to do with Jews. To say it was "antisemitic" because it was at a synagogue is just specious.
