To be fair sedatives do have that effect.

My aunt had a fear of flying so they gave her sedatives. We got in the seats ok but then the last few people to get on were some big 20 stoners. My aunt shouted out "No no no. They are too fat. They are too heavy. We will crash. Don't let them sit at the side, the plane won't be able to steer. We're all going to die. Get the fatties off."

Planes do need to be balanced and particularly fat people need to be distributed evenly, especially on smaller planes.

  • A Louisiana judge has submitted her resignation to the Louisiana Supreme Court after she was heard using racial slurs on a video, her attorney confirmed.

  • "After much reflection and prayer, and in order to facilitate healing within the community, I hereby resign as judge of the Lafayette City Court effective immediately," the letter said.

  • On Dec. 16, Odinet took unpaid leave, and the Louisiana Supreme Court suspended Odinet the same day. The court appointed an ad hoc judge, Retired Opelousas City Court Judge Vanessa Harris to preside over Odinet's cases while she was suspended.

  • The video does not show any of the speakers heard during the clip, but multiple voices repeatedly use a racial slur while watching footage of the attempted burglary. Odinet's attorney confirmed that Odinet used the language heard in the video.

  • Odinet, who was elected to the bench just over a year ago, said she had taken a sedative when the clip was filmed and does not remember the racist language captured in the video.

  • Several state and local officials, including Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and City Councilman Glenn Lazard called on Odinet to resign, as did organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana and the Anti Defamation League.

Good! One less bigot on the bench. All of her cases with black defendants need to be examined for judicial bigotry. Odinet can now find work on websites getting blacked. Just think of the money to be made from the spectacle.

Plenty of Jews are white. No racist, no matter their ethnic/religious background should be on the bench. This racist deserved to be fired and you can be upset over the news. Unlike some, I don't excuse bigotry from certain types of people.

She was using a racial slur seemingly in anger towards the person or persons who attempted to burgle her home. Seems understandable on one hand, but since she's a judge it could be a sign of bias.

I don't think every person should be held to this standard. I don't like forbidden words in general, it's super gay.
