I was watching one of those scandi noir series the other day and it came to me that genre basically exists because on some level they know they are building up both criminal and emotional issues from to their liberal attitudes to crime which they are going to have to face some time in the future. If you watch Paul Greengrass's film about Breivik it's actually quite horrifying how people aren't allowed to express their emotions over the attack and you can see how even the victims have to repress themselves to be considered decent people (the director himself though that was a great trait). This is clearly going to blow up (and possibly Breivik was already part of that) which is why their dramas are full of sadistic vigilantes and covered up past abuse upsetting people's seemingly comfortable lives.

And once out he will kill again.

I've admittedly not verified his claim, but I believe Anders said he targeted communists, not people.

Wow. That’s wild. Communism wasn’t even a big thing back then.

The left in Norway encouraged some psycho to execute 77 people?

Norway is left. The maximum sentence for 77 murders is 21 years.

No, he is held "Indefinitely", once the 21 years (more likely 13-14 years) he's up for evaluation. Seeing how he's continued his own radicalization in jail instead of being rehabilitated, nobody has a serious expectation that he'll ever be let out.

It's one of those "We don't throw people in jail for life because we're scandinavians, we rehabilitate them!" to maintain the nice image but then we throw people in jail for life anyways.

Well that is good to hear I guess. I hate the idea that he has the possibility for parole.

He is also being waited on hand and foot. I don’t think US prison conditions are ideal, but his conditions are amazing.

Now now, Norwegian prisons aren't a cakewalk. A few years after he got sentenced he complained about only having a Playstation 2 instead of 3.

Sentenced to last-gen Playstation is cruel.

So how is the left encouraging murder? The man received 21 years, not 21 days.

Maybe he'll get run over by a car when he gets out of prison.
