I'm not at all convinced that Reddit in its current state can withstand the scrutiny that comes with being a publicly traded company. They really needed to do some serious house-cleaning before filing for an IPO.

They don't need more censorship, they need better censorship. Mods are quick to find any excuse to censor political opinions that they disagree with, but will drag their feet in censoring illegal pornographic content unless law enforcement gets involved or it gets a lot of media attention.

This leads me to suspect that there are a lot of Reddit moderators whose proclivities would bring the brand much disrepute if the press were to investigate and publicize.

Cant wait for saiditers to keep a close eye on and constant;y discuss reddit's stock price the same way a jilted woman looks at her ex husband's instagram account. I'll be purchasing reddit stock once it goes public if the IPO price is reasonable.

Ok so Reddit is going to suck in the future. But is there corners of Saidit where it's not filled with conspiracy theories. Yeah yeah, just cuz it's a conspiracy doesn't mean it's not true, I get that. But this place is fucking toxic sometimes.

reddit has it's conspiracy theory sub, for now anyway. But they ban people from it too much so they come here and other places like this to discuss the censored thoughts. Why would someone come here to discuss vanilla accepted thoughts, better to go to reddit to post that where there will be more people to discuss it with.

I was curious because there are a few people whose opinions I don't like, mainly the anti-Semites and Holocaust deniers. The wacky conspiracy theorists are both annoying and interesting
