Likely they are only getting in really sick and unhealthy at this point.

Probably a lot of people who couldn't get treatment or even diagnosis for other problems during the restrictions as well.

The pychological effect of the constant fear propaganda in the media and the reign of terror by our governments will take a huge toll on all age groups. Anxiety is one of the strongest risk factors for death with many diseases, and particularly with COVID. The constant state of fear wears people down quickly and deprives them of their defenses against diseases and other strokes of fate. So the strategy of spreading fear to "create awareness" or to "prevent people from getting careless" alone will kill millions, many times more than the virus would kill if we never had abandoned the "old normal".

I suspect that the dramatic in crease of athletes collapsing during sports is not alone due to the vaccine but also due to the psychological stress of the last 2 years.

BTW this is a problem for those skeptical of government measures because they are affected much heavier by government terror than the average sheep. The sheep just comply and go on with their lives. They trust the media and the politicians and only wake up immediately before their slaughter. Many of them even enjoy the drama because they have been so bored before.
