It's possible that a third category will be created, but since there are no meaningful requirements for being trans it would very quickly just turn into a men's 'B' league. And since I doubt these narcissists are interested in anything like that, it would probably never really get off the ground.

You're not the only one. Its a fairly popular stance considering the history of cheating in sports, like my personal favourite: In 2000, the Spanish basketball team won gold at the Paralympics. But they didn't have a disability.

that could be a disability but that says only 2 of the 12 players really had one, so they just lied and cheated. Intellectual disability means being retarded. They faked it like cartman did on south park.

oh, ok, it said they didn't take a test for "learning disabilities" so I was thinking things like ADD or dyslexia... if it's a more serious mental handicap that would be different. (Although, that would also seem like it would be pretty easy to notice who fits the profile)

I guess the main way they test it is to see if the person has an IQ below 75, but in that case they just never did any tests. That had been in australia and the spanish players just wanted a free vacation there.

Agreed. The general public will need to see the true extent of this, and the full gamut of identity politics, so there's a big enough backlash to put it back in its box. Transgenderism or the sexualising if children are the facets of identity politics most likely to create the reaction. The BLM riots and critical race theory have certainly disgusted a lot of normal people.

The main concern is with risk. It's all kinds of wrong that women and children will have to abused for this to happen. Whatever we do for transgenders, we need to reach the point where society accepts they cannot be considered female in anything but voluntary politeness and consideration.

As for accelerationism, it really asks for help with smashing the gas pedal to the floor, to accelerate. There's nothing about it that means chilling out and doing nothing.

But the premise that the people who are doing nothing by this point 'just need more incentive' is questionable. Seems like a very large probability that things will get worse and people will just cope and adapt harder.

My argument is that it's always been a clown world. IMHO opinion the period following WW2 up to the 80's was an anomaly, unlikely to be repeated anytime soon. Those who grew up in this period have a skewed vision.

    I just haven't seen any trans people advocating for a third category of sports (or restroom facilities, or prison wings, etc.) Who is going to organize it? Unfortunately, I think the whole point for them is specifically to be included in women's spaces and sports.

    Yeah, to accept a third category would run contrary to the activist push to be considered true and honest ladies. There's that and the reality of this being a serious mental health condition - men believing themselves to be female.

    Cultural conditioning has made them afraid to speak out. These girls, and their parents, need to recognize it doesn't matter if "it's an individual sport, we'd only be hurting ourselves" because they're hurting themselves by tolerating this madness!

    Doesn't matter. The bone structure, muscle mass, &c. can't be compensated-for. The only way to even out the playing field is to prevent puberty altogether, which would be a monstrous thing to do to a child.
