The fact that many cats will fall somewhere on the psychopathy spectrum may be attributable to their animalistic nature
Animals act like animals because they're animals, but if they were humans that'd be bad. Gotcha, don't act too much like a cat.

Evolved animals. The cat things 20 million years ago probably acted just like modern cats. The cat things in another 10 million will probably be the same. Humans have been recognizable for half a million.
