Four volunteers with My Block, My Hood, My City were robbed while hanging up Christmas lights in Grand Boulevard on Saturday, the nonprofit and police confirmed.

Chicago has a population of 2.71 million. Naturally there will always be criminals on the street looking to rob people.

Just as many people live on the North side of Chicago as the South, yet I don't think people there would be robbed while hanging Christmas lights.

Well, I guess there is something to be said from this account for once not defending the powerful.

Instead it is defending despicable criminals attacking the powerless. People who were taking their own unpaid time to make the world a better place and celebrate a Christian holiday. Oh, I could see why a Jewish person would defend their attackers. Got it.
