Yeah it's like how I think most politicians are "conservative" and I should define that as wanting to make money in a capitalist system and pay low taxes. There is money to be made pretending to be a liberal which would mean helping the poor and pretending to be woke. It's like how Pelosi gets rich on the stock market and has a mansion in florida.

You also have to factor in the God complex. Some people think they know better than most and should be able to live above the rest. Call it greed, self-preservation, or a false sense of self.

I think they know they are parasites and a detriment to society, just don't care.

Not a detriment, but that their place is above the others.
