They are also delicious steamed and/or fried. Some melted butter and you are good to go.

Crab is one of my favorite foods. Last time I had some my grandfather was visiting, and he drowned that $30/lb crab meat in garlic butter. That was a tremendous waste. Could eat fake crab if you're going to make it taste like garlic butter anyways and save a ton of money.

I get fake crab all the time. It's a lot easier and unsalted butter does it justice.

Melt some butter and mix it with some garlic, salt, pepper, and some old bay. Put the fake crab in a baking dish, mix it up with the butter and bake it at 350F for 10-15 min. It is delicious.
