He said he was witness to the sound of a massive explosion and watched the building come down in controlled demolition style. He also said no fire in history has ever brought a build down in that way. It's never happened.

theres a video from the actual day where firefighters are saying that. it hasnt been totally scrubbed, i saw it fairly recently.
