It's actually very hard to just fall off a balcony or out off a window.

Whenever I see such a story it's suspicious.

When I look down from heights I often get nauseous and dizzy. I think that's wrongly called vertigo sometimes but I could imagine something dumb happening to me on a balcony because I wasn't entirely ship shape.

And that feeling is your brain stopping you from having anything dumb happening to you. It's making you aware you are in a dangerous situation.
