In the military one does not trash their superiors to the public. Disrespecting superiors is against military protocol. They have no freedom of speech.

That's why this is so noteworthy. He knew it and did it anyway, knowing what the penalty would be. What a brave man. He gave it all up to call out the injustice and lies he witnessed. A hero.

I hope he runs for office someday. A man like that could really clear out the corrupt politicians that engineered the Afghanistan catastrophe.
