It's worth mentioning that the Epoch Times, accurate as it sometimes is in its criticism of China, is owned & operated by a cult. Falun Gong doing some harmful shit in their mountain compound.

first, falun gong is simply NOT A CULT.. They are a group of people that practice doing these strange little exercises that is like thai chi, (maybe that is what it is, i am not sure)

Cults are demanding... jehovahs witness is a cult... if you dont go to their church meetings, they kick you out.. if you dont do their door to door preaching, they kick you out.. if you argue with them, they kick you out..

falun gong exhibits absolutely no characteristic that could be misunderstood as a cult.

falun gong is dangerous to the chinese communist party because for the chinese communist party there is only one religion that is allowed and that is the CCP.

If you disrespect these extremely kind people, may i remind you that the chinese government kidnaps them and harvests their vital organs(while they are still alive)?

edit: a controlling government can not control people that are living in peace.. A controlling government is dependent upon it's people being dependent upon the government to maintain peace, when in fact it is the government itself that created the original chaos.

the government creates the problems and we ask the government to solve the problem and we pay them to burn both ends of the candle that we call chaos.

It's a cult/religion and most of it needs to seem good, and IMO largely is in theory. It's been a while so I don't recall the details I've read about it a while ago to speak on it more, but I know nothing political is that simple.

I have hundreds perhaps thousands of books, including many on Eastern philosophies. Digesting information is much different in the digital age. If I'd read one on Falun Gong I'd likely remember more than just what I read in articles a while back.

i have spent hundreds of hours with MANY MANY falun gong, and they are the nicest and sweetest people that i have ever met.

so if some television show doesnt think that they are genuine, i dont care.

fyi, mr carswell, i am not trying to be funny.

i sincerely believe my falun gong brothers and sisters that they are kidnapped by the chinese authorities and their vital organs are removed and sold to the highest bidder.

So re-read my comment. I like all the good Falun Gong ideas and people, like in any ideology. I don't like "authority" or dogmas and Falun Gong at the higher levels are not be exempt from corruption. I don't watch television for information, least of all political information. Yes the crimes of the Chinese government are many, and are seriously fucked up, like all governments.

You weren't clear in your comments. Be clear or be misunderstood. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm telling you how to improve.
