All these charitys for politicians exist for one purpose; to launder money to people they owe favors by giving them, along with their friends and family, do nothing jobs, while getting a tax write off for it all.

This is the M.O. for most non-profits in the US these days - you have to maintain a zero balance, so give yourself a raise... and a house, and a car, and a long summer vacation in Bermuda, and fancy new office space, etc.
