This is what China does. I know a doctor from Nigeria who told me about this. China makes these loans knowing that they can't all be repaid. In a lot of the African countries, the government leaders often steal the money and take it elsewhere, anyway. They make deals for other "influence" within the country, including allowing Chinese industry to operate without barriers and letting Chinese nationals act without impunity. China also brings the male natives back to China for "training" and tries to get them to start families with Chinese women. Then, relatives of the natives have blood ties with China and will favor any future relations with China over western countries. It breeds a culture of cooperation. Signs are often in Chinese now. Corporate colonialism.

Not that I like China or want it to be the next world power, but China copied the method from the western banking system. Go watch "Confessions of an Economic Hitman".

Yeah it's a huge concern, it's economic colonialism. China is doing this all over to countries who really can't afford it and will end up Chinese vassals. Devious little fuckers.

Western banking system has been doing it for years. "Confessions of an Economic Hitman". China just copied the technique. It's also what keeps America going because, America has been the enforcement arm of the banking system. I wish neither system could work, but all centralization of power tents to attract global thieves seeking to control governments, and the western banking system subverted way to many governments. Now China's going to do the same god damn thing. :(

this actually looks like an inside job. whoever accepted the loan, approved the highway.. to nowhere.. is either a collosal moron.. (possible i suppose) or a knowing accomplice .. this appears more like someone sold out..
