That tends to happen when you've deliberately caused a drought while shutting down your economy. All the people who need to know have always been aware that this outcome had a strong possibility to occur and yet they took no action.

I knew the US is about to have a food shortage almost a year ago, lake mead water level 120 ft below normal and farms cutting back. Plus dairy farms buying feed rather than growing. Yeah it's coming

Could really go for some of those melting icebergs right now.

California should have built RO plants years ago.

when food prices are sky high, people still will not notice that muslims have acquired the world's food distribution networks.

    you will be enslaved.

Nobody noticed... Because Arabs control the media...
    Mmmkay.

      It's baked into your assumptions.

Otherwise, the press would notify the public about the looming crisis.
Information control is required for a manufactured crisis.

food shortage issues are probably one of the most pressing news stories around.

That is exactly why I've bothered to mention the looming global food crises every chance I get, including promoting the sub I created that is dedicated to the matter.

It's not about just one crisis. These crises (plural) are global, impacting all regions in different ways, at different levels, at different times, with different tragic results. See also: /s/ClassWar, /s/Agenda21_Agenda2030

I'm not deciding what is or is not news. I decide what I think is important to share as a participating individual, but that's the extent of it. MUCH of what I share is not noticed or "decided" as vote-worthy by our community, and thus it's not "important" news. Further, I put this paragraph last because the other issue is far more important than clearing up your barbed confusion.
