Federal law is null and void when it conflicts with the constitution. That's just SCOTUS doing its job.
You think police being legally allowed to enter your house against your will without a warrant is worth it if a handful of crazies get their guns taken away earlier than they would have otherwise (i.e after getting a warrant in response to them being committed)? If so, I strongly disagree. I'll take the fallout from the handful of deaths resulting from this ruling if it preserves our 4th Amendment rights.
